Kookaburra is proud to announce the signing of Davina Perrin, one of English cricket’s most exciting young talents. At 19 years of age, Perrin has already achieved remarkable success, becoming a record-breaking centurion, a PCA award winner, and a key figure in both domestic and franchise cricket.
Earlier this month, Davina visited Kookaburra’s BatCave in Northamptonshire, meeting master bat-maker Rob and seeing first-hand how her bat is crafted.
“It’s been an amazing experience being able to come to the BatCave and see Rob at work,” said Davina during her visit. “I’ve heard a lot of good things about what you guys do and I’m grateful to be a part of that.”
It’s been a standout year for the Warwickshire and Northern Superchargers all-rounder. Perrin was named the Toyota PCA Women’s Young Player of the Year, after an exceptional season across formats.
For Warwickshire, Perrin was instrumental in leading the Bears to the inaugural Women’s T20 Blast Finals Day, finishing second in the overall run-scoring charts. She struck her first professional century against Surrey in June before delivering one of the defining moments of the season - a blistering 101 off just 42 balls in The Hundred Eliminator, the fastest century in women’s competition history and the second fastest overall.
Her innings helped the Northern Superchargers post 214-5, the highest total ever recorded in the women’s tournament and a feat that firmly established her as one of the most exciting players in the modern game.
A graduate of the groundbreaking ACES programme, Davina’s story carries impact beyond the scoreboard. Her achievements continue to inspire a new generation of players - proving that talent, determination, and opportunity can reshape the future of the game.
Her partnership with Kookaburra aligns with our mission to support emerging talent and champion the next era of cricket - one that’s inclusive, bold, and forward-looking.
Davina will be taking to the field with Kookaburra’s Ghost range, a line known for its clean design, powerful profile, and precision-engineered performance.
Kookaburra Brand Manager, Stuart Waterton, commented:
“Davina represents everything we believe in - fearless cricket, relentless growth, and deep respect for the craft. We’re thrilled to support her journey and can’t wait to see what she achieves next.”
From being the youngest player ever drafted in The Hundred to becoming a record-breaking centurion and PCA award winner, Davina Perrin’s rise is a glimpse into the future of English cricket - dynamic, fearless, and full of possibility.
Welcome to the Kookaburra family, Davina. The future of cricket is in very good hands.
