Having signed a new two-year contract extension with Glamorgan, Eddie reaffirmed his commitment to the club after another strong white-ball campaign in 2025. He featured in every game of the Metro Bank One-Day Cup, top-scoring with 94 at Gloucestershire and producing several powerful innings up the order - performances that underline his consistency and technical skill.

Since joining Glamorgan from Somerset, Byrom has become a key part of the team’s batting unit. His 176 against Sussex in 2022 remains one of the standout innings of his career, reflecting his ability to anchor an innings while maintaining a scoring tempo few can match.
